The friendly and helpful owner and her mom made our stay comfortable. They patiently explained directions to various attractions with hand-drawn maps. The guesthouse was clean, quiet, and within walking distance to the Thermal Hot Springs, which we enjoyed.

Furnas, the best small town in the world, offers breathtaking pedestrian trails, mesmerizing volcanic activity, and enchanting geysers. The convenience of hot springs right in the city makes for delightful swims. The luxurious park and its hot baths are a true paradise. The beautiful house, along with the incredibly kind proprietress, adds to the warmth of the experience. Exploring the town and its surroundings for 8-10 hours a day was an adventure filled with scenic mountain routes, adorable rabbits, and a hidden waterfall in the forest near the lake. Living in this guesthouse was like being in heaven on earth, resulting in me taking 3000 photos of the stunning beauty that surrounded me. With a superb location, great rooms, and an owner who cared about everything like a sweet grandmother, this place was an absolute gem.

I recently stayed at Vale Dos Encantos in Furnas for a couple of nights. The location was great, very central and everything was very clean. The bathroom separate from the room was a bit inconvenient but we got used to it easily. The owner was very friendly and the room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The highlight was definitely the terrace, where you can relax in peace with a nice view to the inner yard. It was also in a quiet neighborhood and had a good location in the center.
